Build quality - excellent, the display plate is well made, thick and clearly good quality. Sides and buttons again are solid and robust and are well finished. The motor is quiet, smooth, does not jolt and is very consistent, I don’t have this in the same room that I sleep in, but it is quiet and not obtrusive. The settings offer different options depending on the use of the watch and both are independent so a dress watch can be stored next to a regular every day watch.

Very well constructed. Wrapped in a clothe. It is extremely silent, heavy and beautiful. It can run on either batteries (2 X D) or plugged into an outlet. The power adapter is included. I have mine running without batteries installed and just plugged into a standard outlet. If the power goes out it does not need to be reset. I think it's great.

I feel you get quite a bit of solid features for what the watch winder cost. Esthiecally the box looks nice. The motor is quiet and the rotation is smooth. I put my Omega Seamaster in and rotates this model fine. The lid does not come close to scratching/touching any part of my watch.

I read all other reviews most of them and heard some bad things was a bit worried purchasing it for my Rolex Daytona but it works well as it should both directions, no noise detected. Bracelet to fit it onto cushion nice an snug no movement or can remove outer ring and fit without the extension opened no problems here good product worth the money and for that price I’ll be happy with anything lasting more than a few year keeping my $16k watch going for less than $400 is a bargain in my opinion.

I've had this winder for about 6 months now... no complaints. The winder does make a slight motor sound, but you have to be close to the winder and be listening for it to hear it. For the price point, great buy. I was really looking at the Wolf winders, but this one works and two or three times cheaper than a Wolf.
If you like nice things
The quality is outstanding. It's so good, that if the winder part breaks I'm ok with that, as it's a fantastic watch box. The winders are very quiet, almost silent, and easy to program. I love the charger and the fact that it has an internal battery compartment if you don't want it plugged in. My favorite feature (aside from the led lights that come on when you open the glass), are the watch holders. They are just perfect and will not damage your watch. Plenty of clearance to the glass, and enough inside so your straps/bracelets aren't rubbing. Definitely worth the 5 stars.

This is my third winder, and they all work great. I've read of reliability problems in other reviews but have not experienced any myself in over a year with my other winders. They're just "set and forget", and keep all the watches ready to wear and in good condition. Highly recommended for people who own automatic watches.

Since you have spent a lot more money on your self-winding watches, perhaps a relatively expensive watch winder is easier to justify. This watch winder is beautiful, very quiet, and function as advertised. It is bigger than it looks in the picture so please check the dimensions. One thing I don't like is the lock. It is more like an "advisory" lock rather than a "mandatory" lock since it doesn't really function well.

A must have for watches that need motion to keep running!
Bought this for my husband for his birthday. When we bought his watch, we had no idea that it would require motion to keep it running and keeping good time. This thing is amazing - it keeps it moving just enough on a schedule to keep the watch from missing time. It is very quiet and I never hear it running. It's a nice case and it looks classy sitting on his dresser. Love this and love even more that he doesn't have to worry about resetting his watch all the time!

This watch winder is the best hands down. It makes no noise, has different settings and looks really nice. My watch fits perfectly snug on the pillow. It costs a little more than others but your watch probably cost several times more.

Great having my favourite watches in one place and alternating between them in terms of wearing for different occasions. I have 3 automatic watches that I alternate in the winder and normally wear one of them. I also have 3 quartz watches that I keep in the pull out drawer of the winder. Very handy, practice and attractive.
Absolutely quiet & smooth as silk
Rolex Submariner fits perfectly and the cusion the watch is fitted around seats very securely in place with no "wobble". Adjusted the setting to "C" for alternating clockwise & counter-clockwise rotations and turned switch to "On" and it is working perfectly with the blinking green light assuring me all is well. Will be getting a second Winder for my wife's Rolex as the other brand of winder that she has been using is very substandard in comparison and she already has her eye on my winder. Great product, will soon be a repeat customer.

I browsed through a selection of Watch Winders before deciding to buy this and I have to say I am very pleased with this product. It is very obvious that sgwatchwinder seem to dominate the market with these specially designed winders. I found that the cheaper models from other websites looked uglier in comparison to this one. The rear of the unit has 3 rocker switches which selects on ON/OFF, lightings and sensor to the door. Well priced item with accurate windings. Thanks.
